Do you think that voting in professional elections doesn't make much difference?
And yet...
That's exactly where it all begins.
Because the more you vote, the more resources your chosen union has and therefore the more it can act... on your behalf,
and be heard.
A union that wins 10% of the vote... does not have the same leverage as a union that wins 30% or 50%.
And the higher the turnout, the more legitimate the representatives are to negotiate with management.
A strong union has the human, material and financial resources to:
- Keep you informed (analysis, employee guides, work-study guides, L'Essentiel, etc.)
- Negotiate salaries, working conditions and social justice
- Help employees in difficulty on an individual basis
- Support your projects (mobility, retraining, career development, parenting, retirement planning)
- Offer social and cultural activities for all
- Manage your interests, your mutual insurance, your money and your leisure activities in the best possible way.
By voting, you are not just giving an opinion.
You are tipping the balance towards the model that suits you best :
- To defend what matters to you,
- To be heard,
- To move things forward your way.
Not voting means letting others decide.
On 21 November, you have real power in your hands.
A ballot paper is a vote that gives strength to the person you choose.
Would you like to support the work of the CFTC?
Then vote for the blue square with the bird.
