What is the role of an employee representative?

09/10/2025

You hear about employee representatives, but you wonder: what exactly do they do ?

It's simple: their role is to act as a link between you and management.
To pass on your questions, difficulties and suggestions, and to act on your behalf.

Employee representatives are employees just like you,
but they are also there to:

  • Alert management to safety issues,
  • Suggest improvements to the organisation of work,
  • Support employees in difficulty,
  • Support employees who wish to develop their careers

They are not spectators. They are active participants in everyday life.

Within the framework of the Social and Economic Committee, they are consulted on:

  • Restructuring projects,
  • Professional equality,
  • Training,
  • Quality of life at work,
  • And, of course, health and safety.

Without them, no social negotiations take place.
They are essential to the balance and smooth running of the company.

A employee representative is a voice for you.
And for them to fulfil this role in the best possible conditions,
They must be given legitimacy: by voting for them in elections.

It is your support that gives them the means to act effectively.

Your vote can make a difference. For you. For your colleagues. For what we want to build together.

Do you believe in respect, solidarity, and a fair and useful voice in the company?
