The CFTC team is committed: our proposals for Carros

03/11/2025

1/ Promote the Carros site as an investment zone for job and skills development in line with sustainable development

  • Mobilise to develop investment in the factory and projects in the Business Unit
  • Support the deployment of AI in Carros to avoid job losses and improve existing jobs

2/ Review the Annual Performance Review and trust line process.

  • Offer an appeal or mediation solution in the event of disagreement with the manager.
  • Reduce the impact of the behavioural component, which lowers the overall rating because it is too subjective and often biased. Better recognise collective achievements in the Annual Performance Review
  • Improve the trust line process by including employee representatives to ensure greater fairness in decisions.

3/ Restoring meaning to work

  • Restoring trust and cooperation between teams and departments by sharing common goals
  • Promoting recognition and internal promotion
  • Valuing collective intelligence by taking into account the ideas of all employees
  • Requesting the regular publication of available positions with an indication of the job group/grade and classification

4/ Improve working conditions

  • Combat burnout by adapting working hours to employees' circumstances (age, health, arduousness of work, caregiving responsibilities, etc.)
  • Reject ‘free flexibility’: maintain voluntary arrangements with solid compensation in money or time
  • Call for a genuine system to prevent psychosocial risks (stress, burnout, harassment, etc.)
  • Create a ‘caregiver support’ fund financed by paid leave and unused time off in lieu

5/ Offer attractive remuneration packages that are more closely linked to the company's actual performance

  • Increase the maximum profit-sharing bonus to 12% of gross annual salary (instead of 10%)
  • Increase the PEG contribution to 200% for the first €500 and raise the amount to €2,200
  • Recognise and take into account expertise and experience in job classification
  • Obtain general increases (AG) for all, including executives, in order to at least maintain purchasing power
  • Offer individual increases (AI) to reward individual performance

6/ Holidays, leisure & culture

  • Offer a wider range of weekend trips (such as European cities, spa breaks, fairs and major events, etc.)
  • Improve reimbursement times for expenses incurred during outings, trips or events
  • Distribute Christmas gift vouchers
  • Gather everyone's opinions on planned projects and expenditure, as well as choices regarding the management of the Carros Works Council
  • Develop educational assistance, housing assistance, wellness care, etc...
